About me

Data architecture, with people in mind

I'm a Data Solution Architect. I help companies adopt data and AI technologies, from figuring out where to start to running solid architectures in production. I stay close to both the client and the team, because a solution nobody understands or can operate is not really a solution.

Working across cloud platforms gave me an architectural mindset that is not tied to one vendor. I evaluate each case through its technical requirements, client ecosystem, and long-term strategy. I bring deep Azure expertise, hands-on GCP experience, and a growing focus on Cloud FinOps and FinOps for AI.

I continuously deepen my understanding of AI strategy and adoption, incorporating these tools into my daily work and developing sound judgment around governance, risk, architecture, and the economics of AI-based solutions. I aim to connect these capabilities with data architecture, team management, and concrete business needs.

Led the end-to-end migration of an Azure Synapse Analytics solution to Microsoft Fabric, in close coordination with the client.
Designed the data architecture for an automotive-parts client, building a logical data warehouse on the Azure Synapse Analytics ecosystem (Pipelines, Dataflows, Spark Pool, Serverless SQL Pool) along with Azure Files, ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, and Private Endpoints.
Designed and deployed a data solution for an agricultural client using Azure HDInsight Clusters (Hadoop and Spark).
Designed the Azure data architecture for a Canadian mining client, integrating ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics and Azure DevOps with IaC using Azure Bicep.
Managed installation and setup of Cloudera Data Platform (Public Cloud) deployed on Microsoft Azure.

Collaborated in architecture design and proposals, taking on a Junior Solution Architect role alongside data-engineering work.
